Description
VISUAL GLUCOSE
STRIP FOR SEMI-QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF GLUCOSE IN THE BLOOD
For rapid determination of blood glucose in suspected diabetics, in suspected hypoglycaemic states and in diabetic patients when no quantitative method for self monitoring is available.
The patient can perform the test by himself; test result must however be put under the constant control of a physician or a medical staff to define together the timetable of the determinations, the interpretation of results and the therapy. VISUAL GLUCOSE permits the semi-quantitative determination of glucose concentration in human capillary blood. Glucose concentration is estimated by comparison with comparative card in the range 40-500 mg/dl. For a correct diagnosis of diabetes it is necessary to perform the determination of blood glucose with a quantitative system. |
