The SILDA (Braided Silk) is obtained from a variable number of fibers according to required diameter from washed Silk threads originated from the spinning of the cocoons of the silk worm named Bombix Mori.

Type of thread

Multifilament, with finishing:
Waxing 100% beeswax pure B.P.
Silicone Coated, Nusil Med 2174.

Great resistance and flexibility for the knots.

Thread color

CI 53185 Black Sulphur 1, with a formulation of C24 H16 N6 O8 S7. CI 75290 Logwood Black, Natural Tinctorial Wood Extract obtained from Haematoxylon Campechianum, Conforms to US Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR 73.1410.

USP 10-0 to 4 / Metric 0.2 to 6

Available length

From 150, 120, 100, 90, 80, 75, 70, 60, 50, 45 and 30cm, with one or two or without needle, from one thread to 10 threads above.

Type of final presentation

The envelopes containing the sutures are packaged in a duly identified and protected with a cardboard box laminating plastic thermocontractable. The quantity can be: 12, 24 or 36 envelopes in each box.

Color of identification

The SILDA suture is identified by the light blue color in the label pack.
