MULTICARE IN
DIAGNOSTIC AID MULTIPARAMETER WITH CAPILLARY ASPIRATION
multiCare in © is a diagnostic aid multiparameter with capillary aspiration for the determination of the following paramenters: Glucose Cholesterol Triglycerides multiCare IN has been developed to execute several determination from fingerprint simply by changing strip. multiCare IN is a new system dedicated to glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides monitoring in whole blood. multiCare IN system is using two different technologies: AMPEROMETRIC with multiCare IN glucose Electrodes strips REFLECTOMETRIC with multiCare IN cholesterol and triglycerides strips

The self-checking of the glycaemia allows the diabetic patient to have immediate information about his/her glucose level, but it must be performed only after accurate training with a physician or with a qualified technician.
It is important to point out that the self-checking cannot be performed without constant follow up by the physician (to make up a timetable, to evaluate the results and to define a therapy).
With the multiCare-in Cholesterol strips it is possible to quickly check cholesterol levels in the blood and inform the family physician to find a suitable therapy or to check-up on an existing therapy. The level of cholesterol in the blood is influenced by the diet, but also by: medicines, diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and severe illnesses.
It is recommended to check blood cholesterol concentration on all people who are used to smoke, to drink too much alcohol and to eat fat and are over weighted or do not exercise enough.
It is specially recommended to people who already had heart disease or with familiar cases of heart diseases before the age of 60. Perform the test at fast for at least 9 hours.
Using the multiCare-in Triglycerides strips it is possible to quickly check triglycerides level in the blood.
The level of triglycerides in the blood is influenced from fat feeding or from alterations of the metabolism of lipids but also from diabetes mellitus, nephrotic syndromes, pancreas problems, acute alcoholism.
It is important to inform the family physician to find a suitable therapy or to check-up on an existing therapy.
Perform the test when you have not had anything to eat or drink (except water) for at least 12 hours.
